Domestic new energy used cars have high cost performance, fast technology iteration and large quantity, which are very popular in overseas markets. Many overseas dealers take the initiative to offer olive branches and seek cooperation.

In July this year, the first used car exported from Manzhouli highway port to Europe; Tianjin port also said it will further promote domestic used car exports in Europe and other countries and regions. The Country Guide for China's Second-hand Car Export (2022) shows that China's exports to the Greek market in Europe increased significantly in the first half of this year, and China's second-hand car export rank rose to the fifth place.

At the same time, second-hand car export enterprises are also accelerating the layout of the European market. Tianjin Huatu Automobile Logistics Co., Ltd. believes that due to energy and other factors, the advantage of new energy vehicles in the European market is prominent, and it will further accelerate the export of new energy used cars in the European market. At the same time, in the first half of this year, we started to open up the logistics of exporting used cars to Russia and expand the export of used cars to Russia. Guangdong Haocai Holding Co., Ltd. also believes that the current energy pattern and other factors for our used car export to the European market provides an important opportunity, will accelerate the pace of entering the European used car market.

When it comes to the constraints on the export of second-hand cars in China, Xu Haidong believes that the export of second-hand cars has accelerated in the past two years, but the after-sales service outlets have not spread all over the world, and there may be a lack of service outlets and after-sales service of parts. For example, the screen display of some new energy vehicles exported to foreign countries is still in Chinese. Poor after-sales service may affect the consumer experience, which in turn will do some damage to Chinese brands.

"This is the main problem in the export of used cars, and the after-sales service system needs to be built at the same time." Xu Haidong said. Luo Lei also has the same point of view, he believes that the vehicle export is only the first step, the more important is the construction of the whole system, it is estimated that we go overseas to set up after-sales channels, but in the export stage can cooperate with foreign distribution system. As for export standards, Luo said the country has already introduced similar export testing standards for used cars to ensure the quality of export products.
