The export of second-hand cars meets the energy conservation and environmental protection standards

The export of used cars conforms to the national policy of energy conservation and environmental protection: "integrated customs clearance" facilitates export.

Recently, eight MINI electric vehicles of Jiangsu Sumida Technology Equipment Co., LTD., an enterprise in Nanjing Free Trade pilot Zone, were shipped overseas from Mengla port in Guangxi Province after passing the national integrated customs clearance at Jinling Customs, which is affiliated to Nanjing Customs.

"Under the 'integrated customs clearance' mode, it takes less than one day for our export vehicles to go from declaration to customs clearance." After Nanjing was approved as the only pilot city of national second-hand car export in Jiangsu Province, the company was approved as a second-hand car export qualification in July last year, and successfully achieved the "breaking zero first order" of second-hand car export in Jiangsu Province, gradually becoming the main force of second-hand car export, with export destinations involving 23 countries.

The export of used cars is in line with the national energy conservation and environmental protection policies, which is of great significance for the upgrading of the entire automobile industry and promoting automobile consumption to help carbon peak. Recently, Jiangsu Province introduced 12 measures to promote foreign trade stability and quality, which clearly proposed to expand the second-hand car export business, actively promote Nanjing to optimize the second-hand car export service supervision, improve after-sales service and other overseas marketing system construction, steadily expand the export scale, improve export quality.

In order to help the export of used cars, Jinling Customs Office in Jiangbei conducted in-depth research on the enterprises, established a joint meeting system with the Commerce Department, constantly optimized the process design, and formulated an integrated customs clearance scheme of "territorial declaration, multi-place pickup, direct access to ports, and port inspection and release" for the enterprises, so as to help solve the problem of blocking points in the first time. To improve the efficiency of customs clearance through pre-examination of commercial documents, export licenses, vehicle driving certificates and other materials, and strengthen the communication and cooperation with the customs of multiple ports to achieve "easy control and fast passage". According to statistics, since Nanjing was approved as a pilot city of second-hand car export, Jinling Customs has accumulated 504 second-hand car export, the value of 81.87 million yuan.
