China Automobile Association: 279000 vehicles sold in September

On October 20, according to the statistical analysis of the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, the performance of the commercial vehicle market will remain relatively low in September 2022. As the property of commercial vehicles as the means of production is highly related to macroeconomic, infrastructure investment, real estate investment and other factors, the market recovery will be more difficult.
In September 2022, the production and sales of commercial vehicles will be 263000 and 279000 respectively, with a month on month increase of 10.5% and 7.9%, and a year-on-year decrease of 15.6% and 12.5%.
From January to September 2022, the production and sales of commercial vehicles will be 2.426 million and 2.484 million respectively, down 32.6% and 34.2% year on year, 1.5 percentage points and 2 percentage points lower than that from January to August.
