Help "smart manufacturing in China" accelerate its march to the world stage

From January to July this year, the total import and export value of the Yangtze River Delta region was about 8.6 trillion yuan, accounting for about 36.54% of the total import and export value of the country. Over the past five years, the Yangtze River Delta has continued to expand its high-level opening to the outside world, jointly participated in the global industrial division of labor and cooperation, and helped "China's smart manufacturing" accelerate its march to the world stage through institutional linkage and policy innovation.

In August 2019, the General Administration of Customs issued the Working Mechanism of Customs Support for the Regional Integration Development of the Yangtze River Delta, formally established the Leading Group of Customs Support for the Regional integration development of the Yangtze River Delta, and established the coordination mechanism of regional Customs integration directly under the Yangtze River Delta led by Shanghai Customs. As the work continues to deepen, a series of innovative initiatives are gradually bearing fruit.
