Jiangsu Central Europe train used car international special train debut

On August 19, a China-Europe train carrying 55 containers with a total of 165 used cars was sent from the Jiangsu (Suzhou) International Railway Logistics Center, bound for overseas. This is the first time for our province to ship used cars through the China-Europe train.

Nanjing and Suzhou are the two cities in the province that have been approved for the pilot export of used cars. From January to July this year, Nanjing Customs handled a total of about 75.19 million yuan of used car export value, an increase of 8.45%.

In order to ensure the rapid export of used cars and promote the implementation and effectiveness of the pilot policy for the export of used cars, Suzhou Customs under Nanjing Customs actively gives play to its geographical advantages, promotes the first operation of the China-Europe Railway used car export special train, provides "one-stop" services in customs clearance, inspection and other links, and makes work plans for declaration of customs clearance and rapid inspection in advance. Dedicated personnel track all aspects of second-hand car export customs clearance to ensure efficient and convenient customs clearance.

According to the statistics of Nanjing Customs, from January to July this year, a total of 1,290 China-Europe freight trains were launched in Nanjing Customs area, with a value of 18.716 billion yuan, an increase of 10.4% and 15.5% respectively.
