Export volume reached a new high

Recently, the third China (Tianjin) Used Car Export Overseas Exhibition and Trade Fair came to an end in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan. In 10 days, more than 100 cars exhibited by 22 exhibitors were sold out locally, and many exhibitors obtained intent orders, involving a total of more than 300 vehicles.

The high-quality development of China's automobile industry has driven China's used cars to the international market. Tian Tian, deputy secretary-general of the China Automobile Circulation Association, said that in the first three quarters of this year, China exported 160,000 used cars, a record high in scale, and exported to 140 countries and regions, among which the sales of countries building the "Belt and Road" have grown rapidly.

The export of used cars has developed by leaps and bounds in recent years. According to the data released by the China (East Xinjiang) Second-hand Car Export Industry Development Forum in 2023, there are 39 regions carrying out second-hand car export business, more than 400 second-hand car export enterprises, and the scale of second-hand car export has increased from more than 3,000 vehicles in 2019 to nearly 70,000 vehicles in 2022.

This is due to the fact that China's automobile industry has seized the opportunity window. Bao Jiacheng, deputy director of the Automotive market Department of the Information and Industrial Development Department of the State Information Center, said that Chinese automobiles have seized the global automotive supply gap brought about by the epidemic and accumulated steadily, and a number of car companies have international experience. Used car export is accompanied by new car export, China's used car export can take advantage of the "potential".
