Second hand commercial vehicles welcome new development

In 2022, the trade of second-hand commercial vehicles shows a positive trend. From January to July, the trade volume of second-hand medium and heavy trucks in China has exceeded 1 million, an increase of 28% year on year.

On November 2, at the sixth (2022) China Second hand Commercial Vehicle Conference held grandly in Gao'an, Jiangxi Province, Zhong Weiping, Secretary General of the Commercial Vehicle Professional Committee of China Automobile Circulation Association, issued the theme report "Challenges and Opportunities in the National Second hand Commercial Vehicle Industry", pointing out that China's second-hand commercial vehicle sales will continue to increase with market demand, and the proportion between new vehicle sales and second-hand commercial vehicle sales in 2022 will exceed 1:2.5, Typical regions will have a ratio of 1:7.5, that is, a new car will be sold while 7.5 used commercial vehicles will be traded. Obviously, new and used vehicles, as an important component of the commercial vehicle market, are ushering in a new development.

"The establishment and introduction of the above systems and policies have provided a basic guarantee for China's second-hand car industry to move towards the world's top market, and completed its historic mission from the policy level and management level." Zhong Weiping stressed that as the world's largest commercial vehicle market, China's commercial vehicle ownership will exceed 40 million in 2021, and the development potential of the second-hand commercial vehicle industry is huge.
