China Automobile Association: The export of new energy vehicles was 87,000 units, up 79.5% year on year
Home of IT, March 13 - The China Association of Automobile Manufacturers has released the February 2023 auto export situation. Data showed that 87,000 new energy vehicles were exported in February, up 5.3% month on month and 79.5% year on year. From January to February, 170,000 new energy vehicles were exported, up 62.8% year on year.
In February 2023, automobile enterprises exported 329,000 vehicles, with a month-on-month growth of 9.4% and a year-on-year growth of 82.2%; 271,000 passenger cars were exported, up 8.3% month-on-month and 85.8% year on year; Commercial vehicles were exported 58,000 units, up 15.1 percent month-on-month and 67.2 percent year-on-year. From January to February, automobile enterprises exported 630,000 units, up 52.9 percent year on year; 522,000 passenger cars were exported, up 57.7% year on year; Commercial vehicles were exported 108,000 units, up 32.9 percent year on year.
As previously reported by IT Home, data from the China Automobile Association released new-energy vehicle production and sales data on March 10. Data showed that the production and sales of new energy vehicles in February were 552,000 and 525,000, up 48.8 percent and 55.9 percent year-on-year, respectively. From January to February, the production and sales of new energy vehicles completed 977,000 and 933,000, respectively, with year-on-year growth of 18.1% and 20.8%.
