New energy used car market capacity

According to the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers data, as of the first half of this year, China's new energy vehicle production and sales have reached 3.788 million and 3.747 million, respectively, an increase of 42.4% and 44.1%, the market share reached 28.3%. However, it is worth noting that despite the further increase in penetration, new energy vehicles have not made further development in the used car market.

According to the latest data of the Automobile Circulation Association, in June this year, a total of 60,200 new energy used cars were traded in the country, an increase of 6.5% compared with the previous year, an increase of 10.2%. However, overall, the transaction volume of new energy used cars was less than 4% of that month. Among them, new energy vehicles with a service life of less than 2 years account for the largest proportion, 37.8%.
