We will establish and improve the management and promotion system for the export of second-hand cars, expand the export business of second-hand cars, improve quality testing standards, and implement unified national export testing norms.

The Ministry of Commerce also said that promoting the export of used cars is an innovative business to stabilize foreign trade, and an important way to promote the upgrading of domestic automobile consumption. It plays an important and positive role in accelerating the mutual promotion of the domestic and international double cycle of the automobile industry and promoting the high-quality development of foreign trade.

"Exports of used cars would be a very worthwhile direction to try." Bai Ming, a member of the Degree Committee of the Research Institute of the Ministry of Commerce, told Time that in recent years, domestic automobile production and sales have slowed down. Under such circumstances, it is very important to speed up the replacement of automobiles and encourage the renewal of consumption.

At the same time, Bai pointed out, it also means the need to improve the second-hand car recycling mechanism, forming a cycle of auto consumption industry. "It is a good idea to repair used cars and then export them to developing countries. This will strongly promote the formation of related industrial chains, thus forming a positive interaction in the market."

Since this year, many used car exports are showing a "good start".

In Changchun, for example, 822 used cars were exported in January alone, with an export value of nearly 100 million yuan, accounting for 90% of the total export volume and 60% of the export volume last year, showing an explosive growth.

Although in the short term, the used car export market may not be able to achieve full explosion, but with favorable policies, opening the used car market, unblocked the domestic and international double cycle, and activating the stock of the domestic automobile market may provide a new breakthrough for expanding automobile consumption.
